Instinct

It's a wonderful feeling, instinct.

Tells us whether we are excited or apprehensive about something without us even realising why we feel that way.

Acting on our instinct, though, can be a tricky thing.

Instinct is an impulsive feeling, and one that is momentary in nature. More like a prediction made by a machine learning algorithm. It is probabilistic in nature.

But it is definitely a feeling that is worth entertaining than disregarding.

But how to do it in an objective way rather than an impulsive way?

I've found that one way to do it is by looking under the instinctive feeling to understand the cause of it. If we know why we feel a certain way, it is a lot easier to address it objectively.
