I watched New York last week and thought it was a pretty good movie with an excellent first half but an average second. The acting and the direction were better than what I had anticipated and I felt the storyline did not offer enough scope for the director or the actors to make the movie any better. It is worth a watch in the theatre and I suggest you give it top priority if you are considering whether to watch this or Kambakht Ishq.
